📖 Full Description

  • Discover the flavors, stories, and heart behind local cuisine. This
    half-day cultural experience begins in the afternoon, offering free
    time in the morning to relax, enjoy an optional massage, or stroll
    around town. At 3:00 PM, join your host for a Filipino cooking class
    focused on two beloved dishes: Adobo, a savory soy-garlic stew,
    and Chopsuey, a vibrant vegetable stir-fry. Learn traditional
    techniques and how ingredients are sourced locally. You’ll also taste
    coconut wine (locally known as tuba), a common drink during
    Filipino gatherings. After cooking, gather for a family-style dinner
    where you’ll enjoy the dishes you’ve prepared. This is more than just
    a meal — it’s a chance to engage in cultural exchange and hear
    stories from locals about food, traditions, and island life.

  • 03:00 PM – 05:30 PM – Filipino Cooking Class: Learn to cook Adobo &
